Natasha Iliopoulou - Art Director & General Manager

Born in 1988 in Athens, Greece, Natasha Iliopoulou is an art historian and curator of exhibitions and art events, mainly focused on art as a platform of exchanging ideas in contemporary art-world. Her MA (research) in Arts and Culture, specialized in Museums and Collections in Contemporary Art World, was received from the Leiden Universiteit in the Netherlands. Subsequent to that she worked in several art and technological institutions in the Netherlands such as Waag Society in Amsterdam, Museum Het Leids Wevershuis in Leiden, ARS Aemula Naturae in Leiden, and EAE Studio for Contemporary Art in Leiden. There, she worked in different collaborative bioart and educational projects as Assistant Project Coordinator and as Assistant Curator in several exhibitions of photography, part of the project “Fred Rohde Retrospective – 50 Years of Photography”. In 2013 she was invited to become a member of Athens Art Network and since then, she has been working in the organization of several cultural festivals (i.e. Petit Paris d' Athènes festival, Patission Cinemart festival, SALADE Jam festival) as the Director’s executive assistant and as a curator of art exhibitions. Part of her latest work is the curating of the group exhibition “Sur les pas du Petit Paris d' Athènes” in Match Point art café and the “Art Explorations as a reflection of Paris art cafés” in Athens Conservatory building. One of her latest collaborative projects “Fedora – A city of Desire” was presented in Instituto Italiano di Cultura of Athens as part of the exhibition “Invisible Cities”, curated by Maria Saridaki.

Pavlina Georgitsis- Creative Director & Visual Artist

 

Georgitsis was born in Johannesburg South Africa (b.1993), grew up in Lusaka, Zambia. She has lived both in Greece and Zambia throughout her life. She speaks English and Greek fluently, as well as basic Nyanja (Local Zambian dialect). Influences from her upbringing have played a critical role in her decision to study visual arts (major) and psychology (minor), in order to express her views and beliefs and to be open to perceive the world around her from a creative point of view. She will continue her Graduate Studies in Art Psychotherapy. In addition to her art therapy work, Pavlina has also helped work on a research project focused on proving the effectiveness of art therapy for male adults in prison of Korydalos in Greece, in collaboration with Jennifer Nelson and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, within their program EMST without borders. Both her B.A. in Visual Arts and her minor in Psychology, were received from Francis Rich, School of Fine and Performing Arts, Deree, The American College of Greece. During 2014, she was invited to exhibit in collaboration with Eleni Chamou for the book ‘Siwph san orkos’ by Christina Pomoni, which was curated by Natasha Iliopoulou organised Minoas publications, in Athens, Greece. Later in October 2015 she exhibited a series of drawings together with six other artist, at the Petit Paris d’Athenes exhibition, curated by Amina Kortbi at the Stanley Hotel at Metaxurgio, organized by ATHENS ART NETWORK. At the same time she presented at the 'Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino' exhibition, curated by Ira Papapostolou. In 2015 she also cofound the F.A.C.E team ( Foundation for Arts and Cultural Events) , with  four other independent artists, with the aim to have multiple international collaborations, such as the group exhibition 'Contemporary Venice- Architecture of Identities', co-curate by Luca Curci & Andrea Chinellato, at Palazzo Ca'Zanardi in Venice, Italy.

Christiana Felouka - Dancer & Performer

Christiana Felouka was born in 1993 in Athens,Greece.She used to practice in classical ballet, jazz and contemporary dance for 12 years in a private dance school.She has participated in 8 performances,some of them as a soloist. After that, she succeeded the exams organised by the ministry of culture and she started her proffesional education. Now she attends the third and final year of 'AKTINA' proffesional school of dance.During the proffesional studies she has partisipating in seminars with acknowledged dancers and teachers as judith Sanchez Ruiz (dancer of Trisha Brown dance company) and Daphnis kokkinos(dancer of Pina Bausch dance company). She also has partisipating as a performer in the national center of 'Mikis Theodorakis' in a performance based on 'Giannis Ritsos'poetry.

Eva Felouka - Dancer & Performer

Eva Felouka is a young dancer-performer, born on November 1990, Athens, Greece. At the age of 7, she began her modern dance education. Three years later, she also started training in Latin and Ballroom dances international and American style, next to the well-known dance instructor and choreographer Anna Polyzou. At the age of 15, Eva began her education at ballet and contemporary dance at Aliki’s Kontziou dance school. Consistently, she attended contemporary workshops in various dance studios with many teachers such as: Christine Gouzelis, Paul Blackman and many other important artists. At the age of 18 she got her professional Latin and Ballroom diplomas from I.D.T.A and D.V.I.D.A and since then she has been working as a dance teacher. Recently she participated in many competitions and performances. One of the most prominent performances was in’’Miki’s Theodorakis national center’’ based on Giannis Ritsos poetry. During October 2015,she entered the F.A.C.E team with the experimental video art work: City of Desire _ FEDORE, which was presented in Instituto Italiano di Cultura of Athens, at the exhibition ‘Invisible cities by Italo Calvino', curated by Ira Papapostolou & Maria Saridaki. In 2015 she also cofound the F.A.C.E team (Foundation for Arts and Cultural Events). In 2016 she present along with the F.A.C.E. at the group exhibition 'Contemporary Venice- Architecture of Identities', co-curate by Luca Curci & Andrea Chinellato, at Palazzo Ca'Zanardi in Venice, Italy.

Eleni Chamou - Art Director & Visual Artist

Born in 1990 in Athens, Greece, Eleni Chamou is a young emerging artist, who sees herself as an expressionist visual artist-choreographer. Her B.A. in Visual Arts was received from Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts, DEREE, The American College of Greece. Subsequent to that she attended dance classes in Dance Action Anna Polyzou’s Dance Studio, where she received two Professional achievements in Dance Smooth DVIDA Bronze and Rhythm DVIDA Bronze with High Honors. At this studio she worked as a dance instructor and became a member of the Dance Group Ladies Formation, with which she attempted a lot of dance competitions. In 2014 she was invited to co-curate with 3 more students for the Visual Arts Department of Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Art at DEREE, the “Highlights from the ACG Art Collection” Exhibition in ACG Gallery. A recent group exhibition that she participated was in Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Atene for the 'Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino' exhibition, curated by Ira Papapostolou and Maria Saridaki. In 2015 she founded the F.A.C.E team ( Foundation for Arts and Cultural Events) , with some other independent artists, dancers and theoreticians of art, having as a result, multiple collaborations with independent art groups and art institutions internationally. During 2016, she will exhibit at 'Digital Pop' Festival, organised by A.D.A.F. and she will also present at the group exhibition 'Contemporary Venice- Architecture of Identities', cocurate by Luca Curci & Andrea Chinellato, at Palazzo Ca'Zanardi in Venice, Italy.
